Yes the metals are all solid Sterling Silver, Gold, Brass, Copper, Aluminium. The metals are always noted on the piece description.

2. How do I keep my jewellery clean?

You can use a jewellery polishing cloth when you take your pieces off to store. You could also rinse them in warm soapy water and dry well before storing.
