Nanshe is a sculptor who makes ethical jewellery.

Barbara Nanshe hand makes and retails her unique, individual, one-off and ethical jewellery and sculpture pieces on line and in her shop in the iconic City Arcade.

The unique retail and workshop space allows Barbara to showcase her skills; make, display and sell her jewellery collections and objects; retail her unique cards; exhibit her sculpture; exhibit her favourite local artists work for sale;  present events and speakers; provide access to a custom jewellery service.

Nanshe will  create something specifically for you or redesign and craft (or repair) your old and pre loved jewellery into something new and individual.

Barbara’s work reflects her unique vision of the world.  Choosing interesting and ethical materials to support her conservation principles and ethical philosophy,  Barbara produces jewellery pieces and collections that are influenced by her ideologies and sculptural perspectives.

Nanshe has a background in Art and Fashion and Ecology and years of experience in teaching sculpture, jewellery and drawing, with 10 solo exhibitions and more than 22 group exhibitions globally to her name since graduating from a BAVA from the  University of Tasmania in 1991.
